Dade and Broward Counties have the most stringent building codes in the US. To award WDM with a Miami-Dade Building Code Compliance permit, the Building and Zoning department required proof of Product Control—a Specification Report which shows the integrity of products. For example, products must meet the required design pressures for hurricane windows and doors. Without such test-data reports, permits will not be issued.
